Tranmere Rovers have announced the signing of Will Vaulks from Oxford United on a two-year deal.
Vaulks, a Rovers academy graduate, returns to Prenton Park 13 years after leaving his boyhood club without making a senior appearance for the Merseyside side.
Since his departure in 2013, Vaulks has forged a highly successful career in Scotland and the EFL, making more than 600 professional appearances.
The former Wales international has also been recognised for his outstanding work off the pitch in raising awareness of mental health issues. He was named EFL Player in the Community at the 2026 EFL Awards.
