Stirling’s football scholarships offer a fantastic package of support including coaching, world class facilities and funding support to fit alongside academic studies.
At Stirling, high-performance coaches, world class facilities, innovative sports science, strength and conditioning, physiotherapy and performance lifestyle support are all brought together.
Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone train at the university facilities, which include a 3G pitch and state-of-the-art high-performance suite with 10 Olympic lifting platforms.
Football scholars represent the university in the semi-professional Scottish Lowland Football League and the Scottish Cup. Home fixtures for these competitions are played at Forthbank Stadium. Additionally, student-athletes compete in the British Universities Premier League North, the British Universities Championships, the Queen’s Park Shield, and several other cup competitions.
