LFE Transition Officer
LFE has a dedicated, qualified member of staff providing transition information, advice and guidance.
Higher Education/USA Scholarships
Many apprentices aspire to progress into higher education, whether that’s at a UK university, or even exploring opportunities to study abroad in places like the USA, opening doors to new experiences and global perspectives.
To help you plan your next steps, LFE has created two useful resources which both include former academy players’ insights: the University Applications Guide and the USA Scholarships Guide.
Xello
LFE has also secured access to Xello, a resource that provides online career support and information for alumni looking at careers within the world of football and outside of it. Xello offers a sneak preview of what the working environment may be like in over 1,500 jobs as well as providing further information on the qualifications and skills you need to get there.
National Careers Service
Current and former apprentices can also access the National Careers Service which provides information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work opportunities. The service offers confidential, helpful and impartial advice, supported by qualified careers advisers.
