Students have received recognition for their excellent academic progress and positive contribution at their club community organisation by making the shortlist for LFE’s Learner of the Term for April to July.

Jedidiah Seyi – Wigan Athletic
Phil Corrigan, Wigan Athletic Football and Education Manager: “Jedidiah has had an outstanding year, consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic, commitment, and a positive attitude towards all aspects of the programme. His attendance and punctuality have been exemplary throughout the academic year, setting a high standard for his peers and showing his dedication to personal and academic development.
“Throughout the year, Jedidiah has engaged in multiple work experience opportunities, each of which he has approached with enthusiasm, maturity, and professionalism. These experiences have significantly contributed to his personal growth, helping him build transferrable skills and gain a clearer insight into potential future pathways.
“One of the most impressive aspects of Jedidiah’s journey has been the transformation in his confidence. He has truly come out of his shell this year, becoming more engaged, communicative, and proactive both in and out of the classroom. His growing confidence has been evident in group discussions, presentations, and his willingness to support and collaborate with others.
“Academically, Jedidiah has achieved multiple distinction grades across his assignments throughout the year. He is currently on track to exceed his target grades by the end of year 2, a reflection of his consistent effort, progress, and commitment to achieving his full potential.”
